As you may have heard, we will be launching the B&F Employee Engagement Survey next month, which will help us measure our progress in creating a more positive and inclusive work environment. The new, much shorter survey replaces the longstanding B&F Employee Satisfaction Survey and focuses on issues that local managers and teams can take action on. Your candid feedback will provide invaluable insight into how we’re doing and where we can improve.
The confidential survey will be open April 11-26 and will take just 10 minutes to complete. You’ll be hearing more about the survey in the coming weeks. I want to strongly encourage you to participate. I believe deeply that the better we understand the experiences of our staff, the more effective we can be at creating a positive work environment for everyone in B&F. In addition to taking the survey, one thing we can all do to support a more positive and inclusive work environment is to continue learning. March is Women’s History Month, so I want to encourage you to check out the Organizational Learning DEI “heritage month” videos. This month features eight short videos about important figures you may or may not know about—from computer scientist Margaret Hamilton to Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm. What a great resource!
