Throughout this last year, all of us have had to adjust to a new way of working – not just those of us who are working remotely, but also all the teams that have remained onsite to support our campus. One team that has remained open and operational throughout the pandemic is the Finance Print/Copy/Mail (PCM) department. This wonderful team of professionals offers a wide-variety of printing services, including full-color magazines, newsletters, stationery, etc., and provides mail delivery to our entire campus. Their work has helped ensure that our colleagues across campus have the resources they need to keep the audiences they serve informed and connected. You can learn more about the PCM team and the services they provide on our website.
And speaking of staying connected, I am so grateful that our UHR colleagues continue to engage the talents and insights of staff across the university through their innovative Voices of the Staff program. Now more than ever, it’s critical that the university hear from staff and enlist their input and ideas in shaping the future of work at the university. If you want to be part of this discussion, as well as help inform many other topics, I encourage you to apply for Voices of the Staff by April 30. I have been a strong supporter of the Voices efforts throughout my time at U-M, and believe that it provides a vital service to our university. You can learn more about this terrific program and how to submit your application on the UHR website.
Thanks for all you do to make this university a great place to work and to Make Blue Go!
With much appreciation and gratitude,
