Food for Thought

In September 2019, the Shared Services Center launched a new DEI lunch series, Food for Thought. The goal of this series is to bring employees together in a discussion panel format to try food from around the world and raise social awareness on a variety of topics. The first event featured food from Jerusalem Garden and a panel of three expert guest speakers to discuss the opioid epidemic. The second event featured JimBob’s BBQ soul food and addressed Sexual Harassment and Misconduct. The bi-monthly events to follow will explore:

  • Human Trafficking
  • Ageism
  • Poverty
  • ALLY In the Work Place: Bystander Intervention
