Dear B&F Colleagues:
The B&F Employee Engagement Survey opens tomorrow, May 13th, and I want to personally invite you to participate. Your feedback will provide invaluable insights about your experience as a staff member and will help us identify strengths we can build on as well as opportunities we have to improve. The survey will also help us better understand the impact of this past year on our teams and our workplace climate.
The confidential survey should take about ten minutes to complete. Please look for an email invitation from the B&F Survey Team in your inbox that will include your personalized link to the survey. You can take the survey on a computer, tablet or smartphone and it will be open through May 28th. We remain committed to creating a positive and inclusive workplace throughout B&F, but we can’t get better without your feedback – so please take a few minutes to participate in this important effort. Thank you!
In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, our colleagues in UHR have developed a wide variety of related resources, under the theme of connection. Research shows that building strong personal relationships and connecting with others is critical to human wellbeing. I am so grateful for the mental health support we have available to us here at the university. I am also extremely thankful for our positive energizers, who are supporting mental health awareness throughout May by providing resources that help build resilience. I encourage you to take advantage of these tools – doing so will not only improve your own mental wellbeing but will also help build resilience in our organization overall.
My first week as interim EVPCFO has gone well, mostly due to the overwhelming support and encouragement I have received from so many people across B&F. It’s truly an honor to step into this leadership role and have the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work that happens across B&F. Thank you for your dedicated service to the university and for your continued support of one another during this ongoing pandemic situation.
