Business & Finance Principles

Since 2017, B&F has been working to create an organization in which our staff feel valued, believe that what they do matters and are empowered to make a difference. While the work that happens across B&F varies a lot, we are committed to creating this kind of positive and inclusive work environment across our entire organization. In fact, this commitment is the “glue” that binds all of our B&F areas together.

After four years, we have been reflecting on what is most important to us as an organization. Using information from our employee survey, input from groups of staff, and feedback from our expanded leadership team, we have created a list of principles to more fully define and characterize what we mean by a positive and inclusive organization in B&F.
